At Bevan, there are many ways to make a difference. Whether you’re able to give your time, share your professional skills, or donate essential items, your contribution helps us provide compassionate, practical support to people experiencing homelessness, seeking asylum, or facing other forms of exclusion.
Volunteer Your Time
Volunteering with Bevan is a meaningful way to give back, gain experience, and support people facing homelessness, displacement, and disadvantage.
We offer volunteer placements across Bevan services and with trusted partner organisations. Volunteers help with:
- Drop-ins and group activities
- Sorting and distributing donations
- Supporting our wellbeing programmes
- Admin and behind-the-scenes support
You’ll receive full training, a named supervisor, and opportunities for personal and professional development. Click here to register you interest.
Volunteer Your Skills
Have a skill or passion you’d like to share? We’re always looking for people with specialist expertise to enhance our services.
We especially welcome:
- Artists, musicians, and creatives
- Interpreters and language support
- Health and wellbeing practitioners
- Hairdressers, barbers, and beauticians
- Fundraising or digital marketing support
- People with lived experience who want to give back

Donate Things
Donated items help us respond quickly and practically to people in crisis. We accept essential goods in good, clean condition:
We currently need:
- New warm clothing, coats, and shoes and trainers
- New socks, underwear & hygiene items
- Baby essentials (nappies, formula)
- Mobile phones/devices and data bundles (cleared and working)
- New towels, bedding, sleeping bags
- Food parcels (non-perishable items)

Organisations
We love to collaborate with companies, charities, community groups, and schools. From one-off drives and team volunteering days to longer-term partnerships, we can help you give back in meaningful ways.
